“Boxing runs in my family.  I have always liked it – now it is my passion. My mother’s dad boxed in
Puerto Rico. He started boxing at the age of 14.  He was a featherweight with a record of 16-0 with
16 knockouts. He was a tough guy and still is at the age of 83.  He loves giving me tips and was so
proud that I won my pro debut.  I began boxing at the age of sixteen. I have had 22 amateur fights.

I got into the sport and it kept me out of trouble as a kid when all my friends got sent to rehab or jail and some passed away. I owe my determination to my mother and family. I am competitive. I love being number one and as a Taurus I don't start anything I can't finish. My motto - To not only live life but love life and everything that you do in it. Live life with passion and no regrets.
