BRONX, NY (December 10, 2012) Heavyweight contender Vinny Maddalone made a triumphant return to action on Saturday night with a devastating third round knockout of Byron Polley at the Resorts World Casino in Queens, New York. Fighting in front of a large crowd of hometown fans, Maddalone dropped the game Polley in each of the first two rounds before referee Shada Murdaugh called a halt to the action at the 1:11 mark of third stanza. Displaying an array of crunching power shots, Maddalone was in charge from the opening bell as he improved his record to 36-8-0 (27KO’s) while St. Joseph, Missouri native Polley moved to 25-14-1 (11KO’s). “Vinny came to fight as always.
