NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 18, 2014
Tomorrow, Friday September 19th, Joe DeGuardia’s Star Boxing is back at The Paramount in Huntington, New York. Long Island’s very own Cletus “The Hebrew Hammer” Seldin (13-0 10KO’s) headlines the stacked card, as he puts his undefeated record on the line against the very tough Ramesis Gil (8-8-5 5KO’s) fighting out of Santo Domingo, DR. The Hebrew Hammer will be partaking in his first 10 round bout. Despite Gil’s prosaic record, he has gone to hell and back with several undefeated prospects such as Jorge Maysonet Jr., Karl Dargan, and Jaime Cavanaugh. In all of his fights, Gil has exceeded expectations and pushed every prospect to the brink.
Cletus will be facing a tall task in Gil, a battle tested veteran. Seldin is looking to add another knockout victory to his resume and bring his fans a great show. When asked what he wanted most, “I just want to thank them (his fans) for the continuing support and helping my career to grow each and every fight, The Hebrew Hammer will be fighting for his fans this Friday.
And in the co-main event, Hicksville’s very own Anthony “Showtime” Karperis (7-1 3KO’s) is scheduled to face battle tested Jose Valderrama Arecibo, PR. Showtime expressed his strong desire to please his fans, “I’m looking forward to putting on a great show as always. I’m in the best shape of my life with the help of Dr. Camp, the newest addition to my team. I’m ready for anything as always”.
Huntington’s very own World Champion, Chris Algieri will be breaking from his preparations for his championship fight against Manny Pacquiao November 22nd to join the audience in a venue where he has thrilled his fans on 8 consecutive appearances.
