USAROV STAYS UNBEATEN – MENDY KO'D

Star Boxing’s Sahib Usarov (WBO #15), improved to a perfect 16-0, winning an exciting eight round unanimous decision over tough as nails Sergio Gomez, at the Romexpo in Bucharest Romania just moments ago.  Usarov took the fight to Gomez, and put on an impressive performance, winning by scores of 80-73, 80-74, 80-75.  With the win Usarov’s record now stands at 16-0, 6KO’s, while Gomez drops to 16-9, 12KO’s.

In the main event, Lucian Bute kept his IBF Super Middleweight Crown with a fourth round KO over previously undefeated Jean-Paul Mendy before a sold-out crowd.  With the win Bute improves to a perfect 29-0, 24KO’s, while Mendy falls too 29-1-1, 16KO’s.
