Anthony Karperis was born and raised in Hicksville, NY by his parents Andy and Lorraine, who have been supportive of Anthony in whatever he chose to do throughout his life.

Anthony has been active in combat sports since the age of 13 and won many Jiu Jitsu tournaments and at one time was ranked 7th nationally in by the North American Grappling Association in No Gi Jiu Jitsu. Anthony achieved a second degree black belt and also was involved in Kick Boxing.

In 2007 Anthony shifted his sights to Boxing and entered the 2008 NY Golden Gloves tournament where he eventually won his division fighting in Madison Square Garden.

Anthony turned professional in 2012 under the guidance of his longtime manager Frankie Globuschutz. Anthony has appeared on ESPN and MSG in his bouts and most recently won the vacant NY State Jr. Welterweight championship.

When not in the ring fighting Anthony serves as a personal trainer at the Academy of Boxing in Huntington, NY which is owned by his manager Frankie Globuschutz.
