David Papot is the WBA Middleweight Continental Champion and number seven ranked WBA Middleweight in the world.

Papot was born on March 3, 1991 in Saint Nazaire, France were he still resides. He began boxing at age eight, amassing 102 contests in Olympic boxing. He participated in 30 fights with the French Olympic team, reaching the quarter-finals of the European Championships. In addition to winning several international tournaments, he was a two-time Junior Champion of France, two-time Vice Champion of France, and Senior Champion of France.

After a highly accomplished amateur career, Papot, a boxing stylist, turned pro on October 19, 2013 with a points victory over Guy Yitenze Niyou. On March 31, 2017, in his 19th pro bout, he won the vacant WBA Middleweight Continental Championship with a unanimous 12 round decision over undefeated Dzmitry Atrokhau. In his next fight he captured the French Super Welterweight Title with a Unanimous 10 round decision over Barthelemy Lefebvre. He has successfully defended that title twice. He is presently undefeated with a record of 22-0 and ranked 7th in the world by the World Boxing Association (WBA) in the middleweight division.

Papot, looking to expand his international visibility and become a professional world champion, recently signed with Star Boxing, Inc. to help guide him in these efforts
