Bio:

JAHYAE “GOLDEN CHILD” BROWN was born in Schenectady, New York on June 14, 1999, to Mr. and Mrs. Johnny and Joyce Brown. He graduated from Schenectady High School in 2017. Currently, when not training Brown works for Fedex. 

Brown began boxing in 2013, winning the New York State Silver Gloves Tournament and the Regional Silver Gloves Tournament. In 2015 Brown won the Elite National Silver Gloves Championship. In 2016 Brown would make it to the semifinals of the U-19 National Tournament and return in 2017 to Dallas Texas making it to the finals of the U-19 National Tournament. His amateur success continued advancing through the Junior Olympic Trials to compete in the 2017 USA National Junior Olympic Tournament. In his biggest amateur feat, in 2018 Brown would win the Golden Gloves Championship. 

Finally, on March 30, 2019, Brown successfully made the jump to the pro ranks. In just three years, he has amassed a perfect record, and on April 17, 2021, defeated Dormedes Potes (then 12-1) in New Hampshire to earn the ABF Atlantic Super Welterweight Title. With each fight, Brown’s power continues to grow and be unleashed on his opposition. Brown currently trains out of The Next Bunch Boxing Gym with head trainer, Sam Bunch.
